Multidisciplinary Cancer ConferenceThe Multidisciplinary Cancer Conference is a tumor board that is held twice a month at Reid Hospital. The physicians review patients' records that have been newly diagnosed with cancer. A discussion regarding the patient's diagnosis as well as the best plan of care occurs. The team members consist of the following disciplines:
- Medical Oncologists
- Radiation Oncologists
- Surgeons
- Radiologists
- Pathologists
- Nurses
After all information has been reviewed, a consensus regarding the plan of treatment is made. This ensures that all Reid Hospital & Health Care Services patients are receiving the most up-to-date treatment alternatives.
