Addictions
Chemical dependency and compulsive gambling are chronic, progressive illnesses that affect the entire family. Fortunately, these addictions are treatable and full recovery is possible. Aurora Addiction Services helps those dependent on alcohol and other drugs, as well as those who have gambling issues, to achieve abstinence. Our programs help improve the overall quality of life for both the person suffering the addiction and those who are affected by these compulsive disorders. Aurora has been a leading substance abuse treatment provider in the region for more than 20 years. Our mission is to restore those who suffer from their own dependency - or from the addiction of another - to wholeness in body, mind and spirit.

Our treatment team is made up of chemical dependency and problem gambling counselors, family counselors, registered nurses, and acupuncture detoxification specialists. We are committed to treating these issues and building awareness of chemical dependency and problem gambling issues by providing or collaborating on educational programming for schools, local business, and community agencies. Programs include speakers for organizations and clubs, educational programs, school presentations, workshops for professionals, seminars and training programs and one-on-one inquiries.
