Wound Healing
There's no reason you need to live with an open sore. At Reid Hospital, our Wound Healing services is equipped and staffed to address the unique circumstances associated with each wound. In fact, we've been able to treat many open sores that have resisted traditional treatment with a success rate of 80% healed in 12-16 weeks!
Many wound healing options available.
At our Wound Healing Center, you'll receive the right treatment for optimal healing. To do this, your wound care physician may prescribe one or some of these therapies:
- Debridement (removal of dead or damaged tissue)
- Specially chosen dressings and wraps
- Hyperbaric oxygen therapy
- Bio-engineered tissue substitutes
- Platelet growth technologies
