Community Health Education
Community Health EducationAccording to our 2007 Community Needs Assessment, four key health issues were determined as areas of greatest need for our community.
- Obesity/Lack of Physical Activity
- Chronic Lung Disease/Asthma
- Stress/Depression
- Cardiac Indicators/Elevated Blood Pressure & Cholesterol
Our Community Health Education programs focus on improving these issues as well as the overall health of the communities we serve. From no-charge mammograms and wellness-oriented education programs to helping people pay their medical bills, Reid consistently spends millions of dollars each year to help improve our community's health and wellness.
For more information on any of these topics, please feel free to contact us or email our Community Health Educator at pat.murrah@reidhospital.org.
