For Men
| For Men As men age, the invincibility factor they might have felt in their youth starts to diminish. Suddenly, threats like heart attacks and stroke become a reality as they see one of their friends or coworkers undergo an attack. And while these threats are real concerns, most men's health issues are largely preventable.
Making healthy lifestyle choices such as eating right and getting plenty of daily exercise can go a long way to helping you stave off unwanted health concerns. It's also important to take extra precautions when doing tasks around the house or at work to avoid unintentional injuries that could affect your health for years to come.
That's why Reid Hospital has broken down some of our key services for men. Here, we highlight the importance of routine screenings as well as services that will benefit you in different stages of your life. Our Heart Center, screenings for prostate, rectal and colon cancer and information on sleep disorders are just a few of the great resources you will find in our Men's section.
You will also find additional information on upcoming events, support groups and men's health news.
